Here I'm gonna put up some starter links that I used, this is for one of my friends so I'll be writing like I'm talking to them (to make things easier for them kinda)
Personal Web Map- This is the link to show you all the different websites you can use when working with creating your own website. It's pretty much a guide to all the things you can use. Theres also a youtube video explaining each of them.
Geocities Restoration- Bunch of old geocities websites that have been restored, super cool for inspo
Backgrounds- Cool backgrounds to add to your website
Webmastering-Bunch of premade layouts, most recommended one is sadgrl, which is what I used for my old layout.
BMH Online- Just a really cool website that has some cool stuff(??)
A.N. Lucas 88x31 buttons- Buttons to put on your website
Gifypet- This is a website to make a silly little pet you can interact with, I think you'd find this really cool
W3schools- Literally contains anything you could need to learn for making your website, you don't have to go through all of them, if you search anything coding related up, this website should show up.
Theres a lot of different ways to learn about coding html and css, I think looking through a lot of the websites in the neocities site will give lots of good inspiration. You could look on youtube for some tutorials too cause that can help a lot with stuff. Theres lots of cool stuff to look around at and exploring the personal web is such a freeing and awesome experience. There's so many things to discover so look at EVERYTHING. Theres also another great website to use called Melonland. It's banned on the school chromebooks so look at it at home. Using a home computer is waaay easier than using a chromebook (trust me I've made all of this on the school chromebook).
Goodluck and keep me updated!
